Dr. Egbert's enthusiasm, passion, creativity, and wealth of practical knowledge make her a solid choice for your next Deaf Education, Deaf Studies, or Interpreter Training event. Whenever I'm at a conference and see her on the schedule -- that's the workshop I make sure to attend.  What can I say? I like to be entertained and educated at the same time.

Lisalee came to our school to speak at our weekly parent group meeting at the Maryland School for the Deaf, it was amazing to watch as the lightbulb's went off in the parents as the impact of Lisalee's message hit them.  We were lucky enough to have her  present to staff that same afternoon.  Lisalee's message is powerful and moving.  I hope to have her come back every year to speak with our families and staff.

"Dr. Lisalee Egbert has given me keen advice time after time. I had the honor of working with her on many projects, of which her direction was always clear, confident, and apt. I also have been a participant in her workshops. Her depth of knowledge applies to linguistics, sign language interpreting, language acquisition, and of course the most passionate topic of hers, Deaf education. Every time I see her name listed as a presenter in a conference program book, I go."
